If no Data is recovered then you pay nothing
This service includes answering a call within 2-4 hours of the call being recieved, depending on the size of the hard drive and how many files must be extracted the files may not be returned until the following day. Please note that all work will be done within a 24 hour period when possible. Should the recovery take longer than this the client will be notified and the recovery will continue from there.
This service is charged the hourly rate stated above and includes next day service. Perhaps your hard drive failed and you are in no rush to get the information off of it to put on the new hard drive that a Parametech has installed for you, then this is the service you want.
Hard Drive Imaging is a process which involves taking a "snapshot" of the hard drive the client has and moving it to a seperate media for safe keeping. The snapshot is a perfect copy of the hard drive including all programs, data and settings on the drive at the time the image is taken. Should something go wrong with the hard drive and a new one must be installed in the system, this image can be placed onto the new hard drive and the client carries on as if nothing ever went wrong.
Conditions of Data Recovery
If your hard drive has been physically damaged and requires repair in a "clean room" then a quote will be given depending on the situation. In any case you will be contacted as to the state of the device and what is recoverable. This quote of recoverable data is a free estimate and you are not charged anything else except the one hour minimum until you decide what you would like to do. This is our way of guaranteeing a fair price and keeping our clients informed of the progress we have made.
